Atlantic Beverage Center

We were drawn in by the alien spaceship on the roof and the alien name. We thought this would be a neat shop. There was a cool alien when you walk in. Other than that, there is nothing else about aliens in the store except a bottle of Outer Space Vodka in the very back corner that was priced $5 higher than every other store that sells it. The guy working was a complete jerk. We asked him a couple questions and he was very short with his answers and seemed annoyed from the moment we walked in the door. We were going to buy the Outer Space Vodka but chose to leave it after a third interaction with him acting rude to not only us but other customers. Utter disappointment. Thumbs down!

Popped in 2 weeks ago while on vacation, looking for some local brew.
Took a selfie with both pirate statues out front.
Both man and woman (owner? Manager?) working were not amused.
Asked to use restroom. Had been on the road, and wanted to 'hit the head' before I settled in to explore beer options.
I was told they had no restroom i could use.
Ok.
Local beer selection was decent. Picked up a 6 of Evolution Lot #6 DIPA. Heard it was good- got great rating on BA.
Tried finding a bottle date, but could not. Tried everything- holding up to light, using phone flashlight, looking high and low. Both people working did not once ask if I needed assistance, and store was completely empty. They were literally just standing behind counter talking.
Anyway, had to go, so took a chance...
Was happy that I was in the 'happy hour' window of 2-4pm, so 10% off.
The bad news- once I got home I found the elusive Julian date on bottle. July 30. It was Dec 30. 5 month old DIPA. Another shelf-aged IPA. Hop funeral.

Plenty of choices, not overpriced, unfortunately I don't like seacrets... And I didn't know they had a distillery, but I suppose they do luckily I didn't have to buy their brand! Lol
