Crabs To Go is located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in West Ocean City. We have earned a reputation of selling the tastiest crabs in all of Maryland. Our crabs are superior to others because we use Choptank River crabs and steam them to order. The Choptank River is located in Cambridge, MD and produces the heaviest, fattest and sweetest crabs on the Shore.
Crabs To Go is owned and operated by John and Mark Wittmyer and Dan Parker. Dan is a native of the Shore and has been in the crab business for over 20 years. Crabs To Go offers a full menu including steamed shrimp, steamed clams, homemade crabcakes and many other seafood selections.

Everything was perfectly cooked and very good. Crabs, clam strips, clams, French fries, and onion rings. 4 stars for atmosphere because we ate outside and when the wind blew the septic system smelled terrible.

Before we left OCMD I went back to Crabs to go for their bake at home crab dip.
I just wanted to update that I baked it in a sourdough bread boule and add a little extra cheese and lemon pepper seasoning and it was phenomenal. I used the leftover crab dip the next day on top of a cheeseburger with bacon and thousand Island dressing and it was the best burger I ever had. I also brought home the sea scallops and just made them last night 1lb I seared to perfection and the other 1lb I wrapped in center cut bacon. They were really fresh sea scallops even 4 days later. (I froze them as soon as I bought them because I knew I wanted to bring them home)

While on vacation we decided to steam our own dinner this year. Well we will probably be doing it every year now.
The freshest clams, sweetest snow crab legs and huge sea scallops were absolutely amazing and worth every penny. I fed 4 adults with big appetites for under $300 and it was all we could eat...I would like to point out the super friendly and fast employees.
I would highly recommend Crabs To Go. Oh and if you don't want to do the cooking they will do it for you 😁

My husband and I ordered as part of a group. Overall, we were very disappointed by the portion sizes and quality of the food for a 4.6 star restaurant.
My husband enjoyed his crab cake sandwich. My side of macaroni and cheese was ok - not great. While the flavor of the salmon on my salad was decent, I was very surprised by the amount of shredded cheese covering the lettuce. I didn’t have high hopes for salad at a seafood restaurant, but I have the appetite for 2/3lb of salmon and cannot eat shellfish.
I generally love to leave positive reviews; however, I want to share my honest experience so others can make an informed decision.
