architect provided a site with so much natural diversity. Our goal from
the beginning was to create a course that allows Mother nature to show
off her beauty.
"Lighthouse Sound offers great variety in terms of visual excitement and strategy. As often as possible we tried to take advantage of the expansive views of the bay and Ocean City skyline. Ten holes border the pristine marshlands found within the 1,000 acre site while others are framed with mature hardwoods.

Wonderful course truly! From the moment you arrive the staff and people around you are exceptional and super friendly. It’s a tad pricy but you do get range balls included and car in the price 125$ I think it was. I got paired up with some absolute legends and had a blast. We went out at 2:45 and just barely finished into twilight. Most greens were immaculate. I would say in some of the holes the divet situation was a bit much but that’s it. If you’re in the area go here and enjoy!

The course was in great shape (except for quite a few ball marks on some of the greens - fix your ball marks people!) and will certainly test your abilities. Nice driving range and practice greens to warmup before the round. My 3 star review is due to pace of play and the rangers. We teed off 10 minutes late which is never a good sign. After that, we had to wait on EVERY shot for the rest of the round. I understand that it isn't easy for the course to push people along when they're paying $189+ for the round, but it was painful. When we asked the ranger if there was any way they could ask the group to pick up the pace, he just said that they had "a lot of people on the course today" and just sat in his cart. When paying a premium price you expect great conditions (which they have) and a pleasurable experience (which they fell short on). I'd consider playing again but not for that price given the pace of play and lack of ranger support.
