OC Uptown Eats is a local seafood restaurant with tons of character. Even though the building isn't large, the food is full of flavor! I love finding "hidden" gems like this restaurant. Blink as youre driving past and you will miss it. Nestled between the gas station and the mystical store you see the sign for uptown eats and may not think much of it, but stop, trust me. Not really an eat-in kind of place, but grab your food and take off to the beach or condo or wherever, just grab your food here first.
We had the crab cake platters, and man do they make an amazing crab cake. I am not sure how it held together because there was so little filler it was almost entirely crab meat. The fries were crispy and well salted, the coleslaw has a nice punch of vinegar that I really loved and the pickle spear was crisp and sharp exactly as it should be.
My son ordered the kids grilled cheese and devoured it. To be fair it looked amazing.
My husband also grabbed 6 deviled eggs from their grab and go cooler, and they were also delicious, creamy with a slight bite and a hit of paprika.

The wife's crab cake looked perfect and she really enjoyed it. The cheese steak was good, and on a good Philly roll. The service sets it apart. Great family service.

We just picked up dinner at OC Uptown Eats and everything was delicious. I have had crab cakes at all of the best places in Maryland and their crab cakes were up there with the very best! All lump, no filler. The owner was very nice when we placed the order and then when we got there, he brought is out water bottles to drink while we waited for our meal. Crab cakes, crab dip, Caesar salad were all honestly better than we expected. I don’t usually right reviews but in this case, I felt the need to share our great experience!
